Men's Ministry

Gentlemen, one of the most often quoted Scripture verses for men’s ministry is from Proverbs 27:17 which says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpen another.” This, of course, speaks volumes about how we are to help one another in the pursuit of Christ. It is an encouragement for us to engage with each other and to build each other up.

Let us also consider John 15:13 which quotes Jesus as saying, “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” We should ask ourselves how many people are willing to lay down their life for us. Christ certainly did, are we willing to do this for others? Are we willing to reach out in friendship, to overcome our awkwardness, our preconceived notions of who we are and who others should be?

Christ the King wants you to build relationships that matter. That last. First and foremost with God, and then with our neighbors.

We have several ways that we do this for men’s ministry: weekly virtual prayer meetings, group theology discussions twice a month, and various gatherings throughout the year. Come on out and enjoy fellowship and learning! Come be in a relationship that builds you up and builds up Christ’s church!
